Most small offices run on a retail router from the internet provider, a Wi-Fi extender someone bought in a hurry, and a mix of machines that were each the cheapest option on the day they were needed. It works — until video calls stutter, the printer disappears from the network again, and the connection drops every time the microwave runs.
A proper office setup treats the network as the foundation. We build ours on Ubiquiti's UniFi platform: business-grade gateways, PoE switches and ceiling-mounted access points that give you seamless Wi-Fi across the whole floor, a separate guest network, and a single dashboard where the entire setup can be seen and managed. It's the same gear used in venues and campuses, priced for small business.
On top of that foundation go the machines — NUCs, desktops or laptops specced per role — plus printers, screens and meeting-room gear, all installed with cabling that's labelled and routed properly, not draped across the floor.

Why Ubiquiti rather than a cheaper retail router?
Retail gear is built for a house: one box, a dozen devices, no visibility. UniFi gives an office proper coverage from multiple access points that hand off seamlessly, separate networks for staff and guests, and a dashboard that shows exactly what's connected. When something misbehaves, it can be diagnosed in minutes instead of guessed at.
Can you work with our existing internet connection and provider?
Yes — we build on whatever connection you have (NBN, business fibre, 5G backup) and can advise if the connection itself is the bottleneck.
Do we have to replace everything at once?
No. Many fit-outs keep existing machines and start with the network, then refresh computers in stages. The design tells you what's worth keeping.
How much disruption is install day?
Because networks and machines are pre-configured at our workshop, most offices are down for hours, not days — and we can schedule around your trading hours.
What ongoing support do you offer?
All labour is under warranty, hardware carries manufacturer warranty, and our Gregory Hills workshop is the single point of contact for anything we've installed.
