Wi-Fi that reaches the back racks, and stations that survive the floor.
Warehouses break office IT: steel shelving kills Wi-Fi, dust kills computers, and distance kills patience. We design and install warehouse-grade setups — long-range Ubiquiti wireless, tough workstations, scanning and label points — built for how goods actually move through your space.
BOOK A CONSULTATIONA warehouse is a hostile place for consumer gear.
Racking full of stock is effectively a wall of signal-absorbing metal. A single access point at the office end of the building leaves scanners dropping off the network halfway down aisle three, which means picks re-scanned, orders duplicated, and staff walking back into coverage just to sync. Meanwhile the desktop at the dispatch bench is inhaling cardboard dust through a consumer case fan.
We design for the environment instead of fighting it. High-gain Ubiquiti UniFi access points mounted for the racking layout — not just the floor plan — give scanners and tablets continuous coverage down every aisle and out to the loading dock. Dispatch and receiving benches get sealed or filtered machines positioned out of the dust path, with label printers, scales and scanners cabled and configured as one station.
Because the network runs on the same UniFi platform we install in offices, a warehouse and its front office become one managed system: one dashboard, one guest/device policy, one point of accountability.
- Aisle-by-aisle Wi-Fi coverage planned around racking
- Long-range and high-density Ubiquiti access points
- Dust-conscious workstations at dispatch and receiving
- Scanner, label printer and scale stations configured end-to-end
- Office and warehouse unified on one network
Built around your workflow, not a template.
Coverage survey
We walk the floor with your racking in place and map where signal actually needs to reach — aisles, mezzanine, dock, yard.
Industrial network
PoE switches in a proper comms cabinet, access points mounted high and out of harm's way, cabling run to survive forklifts.
Work stations
Dispatch, receiving and pick-pack benches fitted with the right machine, screen, scanner and printer for the task.
Commissioning
Every scanner, printer and station tested against your actual workflow — WMS, courier platforms, label formats — before handover.
From floor walk to first scan.
Floor walk
We survey the space loaded, not empty — racking, dock, mezzanine and dead zones.
Design & quote
Coverage map plus an itemised quote: network, stations, mounting and cabling.
Pre-build
Network and stations configured at our workshop so on-site time stays short.
Install & test
Mounted, cabled and walk-tested down every aisle with your devices in hand.
Warehouse setup FAQs.
Our Wi-Fi dies at the back of the warehouse — is that fixable?
Almost always. It's rarely about power and usually about placement: racking blocks signal, so access points need to be positioned for the aisles, not the centre of the ceiling. A survey with your stock in place tells us exactly how many APs and where.
Can you integrate with our WMS and courier platforms?
We configure the hardware side — scanners, label printers, scales and stations — against whatever software you run, and test with your live workflow before we hand over.
Do you install during operating hours?
Most of the work (mounting, cabling) can happen around operations; cutovers are scheduled for quiet windows so picking never stops.
Can the office and warehouse share one network?
Yes — that's the default design. One UniFi system covers both, with traffic separated so scanners, office machines and guests don't interfere with each other.
What about the yard and loading dock?
Outdoor-rated Ubiquiti access points extend coverage to docks and yards, so drivers' paperwork and gate scans work outside too.
